CANTERBURY GRAIN & PRODUCE. (From Canterbury Times.) The week ending 20tb has passed over without any noticeable feature. Business continues quiet, although an active tone will very shortly prevail. Harvesting is now pretty general, but it is yet too early to speak definitely respecting the average that will be obtained. Wheat .--The value of this remains about last week’s, viz., 4s to 4s 2d. For early delivery sales have been made at 3s lOd to 3s 10|d at country railway stations. The latest cable advices report a slight drop in prices. Oats have beeu selling during the week for the local market at 2s to 2s Id, for billing ; and Is lOd to Is lid for feed. Babley.—For best lots 2s 6d to 3s 9d is paid. There is every prospect of higher prices ruling for this grain. Flodb. —Millers are selling at £lO 10s for best brands. Rye-grass is being offered by sellers at 3s fid to 3s 9d, but buyers do not readily respond.
