SHOCKING MURDER.

A terrible crime is reported from Yarpolata, a town of about 6000 inhabitants in Hungary. One Sunday night some burglars broke into a house, and besides carrying off everything portable of value, murdered the inmates, taking the lives, .it is feared, of nine persons including the proprietor, Caspar Gold, aged ‘ fifty-three, his wife, fortyfive, a daughter of fourteen, a baby of six-months, an adopted daughter of twenty,', and; the aged father of j Gold, who was in liis ninety-second year. , All the above were found dead, their corpses being'shockingly mutilated. In addition to these the lives of a step-daughter and two servants are, despaired, of. One ,of the latter says that two men forced their way into the house, while another kept watch- outside.
