The Mail has over 90 subscribers bekveen Whenuahura and Waiioiara. BRANCH OFFICE OF THE MAIL, Wednesday. The Wairoa Light Horse fired for district prizes on Monday. Howie at present leading by- three points. The Waverley Rifles also fired on same day, but the only tolerable scores made were by Messrs Mathieson and Mason, each 46. The new election of school committee is, I believe, to take place on the Bth ult. Householders should bear in mind the date fixed, and try and return the best men. The Waverley Institute has called 4he annual meeting for Thursday, 26th instant, when office-bearers, committee, &c,, for coming year will be elected.
