This Day. (per UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) TIMARU. At the Supreme Court to-day, Wm. Brown was sentenced to fifteen years hard labor for an unnatural offence; John King, for obtaining money under false pretences, one year’s imprisonment, PARIHAKA. Pungarebu. Everything is quiet hero and at Parihaka, routine being tlie order of the day. BLENHEIM. A man named Henry Boyce was killed in the Wairau valley yesterday by the upsetting of a wool dray which he was driving. In coming down a siding the dray capsized, throwing several bales on top of him. Death was instantaneous. He leaves a wife and four children.
