BOROUGH COUNCIL.
The new Council will meet this evening to commence business. The Mayor will lay a code of bye laws on the table, but as these can be adopted only at a special meeting, discussion may bejput off till then. Committees for Finance and Works maybe appointed at once. The question of appointing a Borough Clerk and obtaining suitable offices should be considered early.
