THE IRISH LAND BILL.

In the British House of Commons on the 11th, the report on the amendments made by the House of Lords in 'the Irish Land Bill was again under consideration. A long and animated discussion took place on the amended clauses, several of which were rejected as altered, while the amendments to others were agreed to. Some violent speeches were made in the course of the discussion by Irish members, who accused the Government of acting with treachery, and with pandering to the wishes of the House of Lords. The debate lasted to four o’clock on the morning of the 12th, when consideration of amendments was finally concluded, and the Bill was returned to the House of Lords.
