CULTIVATION QUARRELS.

The New Plymouth evening journal says—A family quarrel occurred at Parihaka on Thursday last, amongst Te Whiti’s followers respecting the division of the land which is to be put under cultivation, A considerable amount of jealousy was; caused when each hapu was informed , what portion of the new cultivations had been set apart for its special use, and some warm altercations ensued. Te Whiti and Tohu interposed, and succeeded in allaying the disturbance, although they experienced some difficulty in doing so.
