BOILER EXPLOSION.

Wellington, July 4. The boiler of a donkey-engine on board the coal hulk Albion exploded last night. The vessel was lying alongside the wharf, and was getting readjr to coal the Eotomahana. The boiler was literally smashed to pieces. Fortunately, only three of the crew were on hoard, they escaping with a few bruises. The crown of the boiler was carried over the deck of the JRotomahana, which was lying some distance away. Pieces of iron plate were found at a distance of 50 yards. Numerous windows in the vicinity of the wharf have been broken.
