(From Canterbury Tiines.') . , Advantage is being taken by the farmers of the favourable weather for seeding purposes, and operations are being pushed forward vigorously, , Wheat does not present any'hew feature. While prices remainas before, the .feeling may be noted aaone of firmness. ‘Hunter’s white stands at 3s fid to 3s 6£d. ’Pearl and velvet chaff at 3s 7d to 3s 8d ; and Tuscan at 3s 8d to 3s 9d. Extra equality commands a trifle over these figures. Seed wheat is being sold at 4s 3d to 4s fid. Oats. —Best milling quality are 'unaltered at Is lid to 2s Id, and feed at Is 8d to Is lOd. The market, though steady continues quiet. ' - Potatoes. —A fair trade has been done in these at 30s to 32s 6d. Grass Seed. —Not xnuch is passing , in. ryegrass at the moment. A few sales of ordinary to good have been made at 4s to to 4s 3d, and 4s fid, and 4s fid tc 6s respectively. The latter quotation is only, obtainable for first-class parcels or seed that has been cleaned thoroughly. There, are few buyers for stock, most of the purchases having been for order. Dairy Produce. —Cheese and butter are without alteration.
