The shooting- of the trreytown riflemen has been more than usually effective recently. They have killed a cow, a rnare, and a foal, that were thoughtlessly straying behind the range. A steed which was standing near a pot containing boiling phosphorous took a mouthful. It may be needless to add that he died.
