WRECK AND LOSS OF LIFE.

Christchurch, Monday. The brig Pakeha, from Kaipara to Lyttelton, timber laden, ran ashore on the 90 mile beach, and is a total wreck. Six out of seven of crew were drowned. The sole survivor, named Christian, was found on the beach insensible. Dunedin, Monday. The Pakeha had a cargo of bark timbers.
