RECEIVED LAST NIGHT. CABLE SUMMARY. Lord Beaconsfield’s condition continues critical. The fever has increased. Mr Gladstone’s financial statement in the House of Commons shows a surplus of nearly a million over expenditure. He reduces the income tax from 6d to 5d in the pound, and reduces duty' on foreign beers. Other changes are slight readjustments . New Zealand securities in London are firm. In Tunis, a serious dispute about an English subject’s right to an estate is causing trouble with France.
