Charity begins at Home. —The Waikato Times says that the Baroness BurdettCoutts allows her nephew, a baronet, to eke out a miserable existence in New Zealand as a gum-digger. Sir Charles Wontworth Burdett is so employed at Riverhead, Auckland, New Zealand Parchment. —Mr James Bettany, of the Nelson steam wool works, is turning out parchment of excellent quality. The article is said to bo equal in quality to that imported, whilst the price is far lower.
