AUCKLAND STOCK. (Latest Report. ) Cattle, Sheer, &c.—Messrs Hunter and Nolan report that there has been increased vitality in the market ; dairy and store, stock have maintained their value, and fat beasts were a shade higher. There was a marked difference in the price of shipborne beef ; provincial beef sold at from 24s to 28s per lOOlbs. The sheep supply was very short, and consequently prices ruled higher ; lambs were plentiful, and sold at 6s 3d to 15s 6deach ; pigs plentiful, but of inferior description.—Mr Bucklond reports that at Papakura on Wednesday (Nov. 24) the usual number of cattle were not yarded, and those brought forward obtained a brisk sale at good prices.—At Reinuera on Thursday (Nov 25) dairy cows were dull of sale, but store cattle were in good enquiry ; fat cattle in full number (178 yarded) ; prices were lower than last week, and ranged from 22s for sbipborne, to 26sforbest quality Aucklandfatted cattle ; sheep in moderate numbers, and an advance of 2s per head was obtained ; good wethers wore at 2-Jd per lb.; pigs numerous, and good ones were in demand, but coarse pigs were at low prices.
