CHRISTCHURCH SHOW.

Christchurch, Nov. 11. The Show yesterday, favoured with line weather, was a great success. The receipts at the gate were £933, which is £2OO more than last year, and shows that between 10,000 and 17,000 people visited the ground. The following prizes have been awarded:—Silvc medals: Ram and ewe, Merino bred, J. Pearson ; ram and ewe, English Leicester, P. C, Throlkold ; best ewe, Border Leicester, W. Boay; ram and ewe, Lincoln breed, P. H, Russell ; Romney Marsh, best ewe, P. H. Russell. Shorthorns —Best bull, any age, and best cow any ago, C. Mtmlove. Best draught entire on the ground, J. McKcllar’s Prince Royal. Best draught marc, W. Bnay’s- Grace Darling. In implements P. and D. Duncan were large prize takers, boating Reid and Gray, of Dunedin, in many classes.
