SALE OF MANAIA.

8,000 AGEES OFFERED. Telegram from our Correspondent.) Wellington, Monday. The Ministry have just decided to put another block of the Wahnatc Plains in the market. The next block northward comprises about 8,000 acres of land similar to that just sold, and it includes the township of Manaia, which is expected to become the new centre of the Plains. The land is to be placed in the market as early as practicable, and as the survey is complete there is no obstacle but getting out the plans. The sale might take place before the end of December, leaving ample time for announcement. The deferred payment sections are to be £5 an acre, and the cash sections £4.
