Normanby to Stratford or vice versa. Nothing of the sort. I believe Mr During has gone up to see if the road is sufficiently good to take the coach through to Ngaire Station. It is to bo hoped he will find the road sufficiently improved to be able to carry out the time tabic, Auckland merchants are using every endeavour to push trade down here by way of Waitara. They have managed to get the freights from Manakau to Waitara much lowered, and are talking of building a steamer for the trade.
