TUKKISH CRISIS. INDIGNATION AGAINST DELAY. London, 7 th.
Public feeling throughout Europe is indignant at the proposals of the Porte for settlement of the Montenegrin ami Greek questions; and the Continental Press generally expresses extreme disapproval. Some leading French journals urge prompt action against Turkey to secure settlement of difficulties. The Great Powers, however, are awaiting proposals from England before taking steps. In some quarters a blockade of Turkish potts is suggested as a means of coercion towards the Porte,

DISAFFECTION IN IRELAND. London, 7th.
In view of the state of affairs in Ireland, the barracks at various towns in the west of Ireland are being prepared to receive further complements of troops from England.
FLOODS IN ENGLAND. London, 7th. Owing to heavy rain and storms, serious floods have occurred in the Midland counties of England.
