EMIGRANT SHIP LOST.

The Australian liner Hydaspes when off Dover was run into on the 17th July by the steamer Centurion. The Hydaspes had forty passengers, a crew of twenty-five and a general cargo, The collision occured during a dense fog. The Hydaspes was struck amidships, and in ten minutes the deck blew up, and she went down. The passengers and crew were taken off by the steamer Dover. They lost eveiything, some ladies being without a jacket or bonnet. All were uninjured, except a young lady who hurt her hand. The captain, crew and passengers of the Hydaspes behaved admirably.
