Farmers’ Delegate. —Mr G. M. Reed is on his way to the Colony as representative for a large and wealthy special settlement party, for whom he will select a block of land in anticipation of their arrival. Mr Reed will be in Auckland in the middle of October., and the first of the party, numbering twelve or fourteen with families, and bringing with them sixty or seventy thousand pounds, will arrive at Auckland or Napier some time in December.
