WAITOTARA.
[t'lt 0 M dU It CO It lIE.SI’OKDE N T.] Wednesday Evening. At the Land Court, the counter-claimants and objectors have all been heard. The court dismissed the claims set up by Ngateranui, and suggested that as the case had been reduced to a family difference about boundaries of the Ngararu tribe, the Ngararuis might arrange matters outside. An adjournment was made till the morning, but there is no likelihood of the natives coming to an amicable settlement, as Kawcka and his section object to give the Whcnuakuras what they demand. Nearly all the witnesses for the claimants had been examined when the Court adjourned at 4 o’clock. OPENING THE RAILWAY. (By Teleorai’ii .)
