From our Wellington Correspondent. THE PROROGATION. Wednesday Night. The Public Works Appropriation Bill passed through all stages on Monday night. The works will therefore be proceeded with as indicated in Mr Oliver’s statement. The Premier Lad a parting shot at Sir George Grey on Monday night. He said Sir George was a leader who could not load and would not follow. Parliamentary work was very dull today. The Appropriation Bill was passed by both Houses. Only sixteen members were present when the House was prorogued at 2,30 this afternoon. ' The Governor will hold a. farewell levee on Saturday.
