AUCKLAND STOCK. (Latest Report.) Messrs Hunter and Nolan report : The beef pens were crowded, and prices ranged lower than last week, 28s to 30s per lOOlbs. There were large supplies of sheep from East and West Coasts, and a considerable reduction from last week’s prices resulted ; wethers, 10s to 23s 6d ; mixed sexes, 12s 6d to 18s. Mr Buckland reports that at Papakura their was a good muster of well-bred cattle, and a steady demand for 2 to 3-year-okls ; steers brought from £4 10s to £6 5s ; cows, from £5 7s 6d to £7 ; yearlings, £3 to to £3 18s ; calves, 37s to 43s each. The first lambs offered this season occasioned considerable competition ; prices ranged from 14s to 26s each ; thirty were sold, and those were received by ship from tho Bay of Islands. DUNEDIN STOCK. Prime beef, 25s per lOOlbs ; mutton, 2;, ! d per lb. NEW PLYMOUTH STOCK. ( Latest Report.) Bauchope and King report:—Ou Wednesday we bold the opening sale at our new cattle yards, Waiwakaino. The attendance was exceedingly good, bidding being very satisfactory. About 110 bead were yarded, of which 110 were sold. 22 good calves from £2 to £2 2s 6d ; 8 very small do, 15s to 28 ; 7 fair calves, £1 15s ; 1 yearling pedigree bull, £l2 ; 12 store cows, £3 7s 6d to £5 ; 3 shy 2-year-old heifers, £3 ; 25 2-ycar-old mixed cattle from £3 10s to £4 ; 2 4-year-old steers, £5 17s 6d ; 1 old bullock, £7 Is ; 4 3-ycar-old steers, £5 ; 3 prime cows, at calving, from £8 to £9 10s each ; 4 poor cows, with calves, £4 10s to £5 ; 1 Hereford springer, £6 ; 8 springers, £6 155., £7, £6 10s., £5 12s 6d., £7, £5 10s., £7, £5 ; 1 Hereford bull, £7 10s ; 1 poor bull, £3 2s Gd ; 1 young bull, £3 ; 1 draught mare* £8 5s ; 1 light draught marc, £7 5s ; 1 pair first-class young draught horses, £55. LONDON WOOL REPORT. Mr F. R. Jackson’s London agent reports, July 15 :—Buyers having sufficiently stocked themselves at the last series of sales, there has been next to nothing doing in this trade during the past mouth. The arrivals for next series already amount to 283,000 bales’ and the quantity afloat is reported as 36,000 bales. Prospects of future values may be said to be unaltered since the date of our last circular, but a large consumption of wool is reported to bo going on both at Home and on the Continent.
