Something Wrong at Wellington

During a discussion in Committee of Supply, the Minister of Public Works, in answer to a question, stated that there was a deficiency in that department of £IOO,OOO. The announcement created alarm and consternation in the House. He said he did not consider that he would be doing his duty to the House if he dip not tell them their true position. Mr Stevens said the House should not prorogue until matters were cleared up.
