ANOTHER COMPLAINT .

Sir, —I have been knocked off at the Junction works, and what do you think it was for ? The ganger asked me to take my waistcoat off. I told him I had got cold through working in the wet, and I was afraid to take my waistcoat off. He said, “ Take it off, or clear out.” And so I had to clear out. I arn an engineer by trade, and I am sure the way I worked there ought to have satisfied any reasonable man. I must say those gangers don’t know their business. I never saw such ignorance in directing that cutting and levelling. You know my name, sir, and can judge for yourself.—Yours, &c. Engineer. Patea, Saturday, 31st.
