TARANAKI HARBOR INQUIRY.
(Telegram from our Correspondent.) Wellington, Friday Night. The engineer and secretary of the Taranaki Harbor Board are now under examination before the Select Committee of the Upper House, as to the amount of expenditure and the powers under which certain sums had been expended. The enquiry is assuming a serious form.
