. ‘ ' (Latest Report.) /'• There was a limited attendance at the Addington Yards, but as the snpp'y of stock, owing to the wet weather was smaller than usual, the competition was good. The entries comprised 2G93 sheep, 249 cattle, and 209 pigs. Siiebp.— With the exception of two lots, the sheep yarded were of an indifferent quality. Best cross-breds, for which the bidding was spirited, made as high as IGsGd good do, 13s to 15s each. Wc quote mutton at from to 2-Jd per lb. Two-tooth cross-breds and merino stores realised 7s Id each. Cattle. —The supply not being large the bidding throughout was very brisk. Beef sold at prices equal to 22s 6d, and a shade higher for prime lots. Very few stores were offered. There is still good inquiry for young cal tie of this description. Pigs sold at various prices ranging up to £4. There is still a brisk inquiry for
pigs of good quality.
