Wheat. —No alteration can be noted, locally, in the value of this grain, although the most recent cable advices to hand advise a weak market in London. Quotations are os Gd for good milling, and 3s 3d to 3s -Id for average samples; chick wheat continues in abundant supply. Oats. —For first-class milling Is-Id to Is 5d is obtainable, and feed quality is selling at Is Id to Is 3d. With the falling off in the shipments of wheat wo have no doubt onr remarks respecting freights will

shortly come about, and those who are desirous of trying the London market for oats, will soon have an opportunity of doing so at a rate that will give a chance of leavinga margin. Barley is without alteration, and unless of good quality is hard to quit. Potatoes.—A better cnquiiy has been felt during the past week, and sales arc being made at 22s 6d to 255. Flour has had fair business at £9 to £lO, according to brand. Grass Seed. —There has been next to no business either in rye-grass or cocksfoot. Values are unchanged, and buyers to hold arc not numerous. Dairy Produce. —Butter is quoted at 9-Id to lOd ; cheese, 4d to -U-d, hams and bacon, Old.
