[k rom our crmi e si* ondes t,] The school committee met on Saturday, Messrs Clover (chairman), Delamore, Hawken, Paterson, Payne, and Salmon being present. Mr Paterson proposed that tenders be called for painting the soho.ol and teacher’s residence. Seconded by Mr Dclamorp, and carried. Proposed by Mr Paterson, that the chairman and secretary be empowered to sign cheques. ; Seconded by Mr Delamorc, and .carried. After a few comments on. the Inspector’s report, the meeting adjourned, It,is gratifying to note a cpnsiderable increase of attendance at the school within the last few month®/ When the railway comes through, the school wifi doubtless be one of the best attended; in the county. The hew ham-curing shed at Woodside, lately constructed for Mr B. E.
