WAVERLEY.
[from our correspondent.] Pastoral Association.— lt is to be hoped that the motion- brought forward by Mr Morton, and carried unanimously at the meeting on Saturday, 24th April, to the effect that cattle be prevented from coming into this district from other parts, is receiving attention in the quarter. To take all due precaution to prevent the spread of this disease is the stock-owner’s duty, and certainly this plague requires careful watching. Although the fear of it may lead to occa- ■ sional blunders, there is a long line of difference between cautions foresight and waiting for symptoms. ; Bacheldeu’s Combination. — This exhibition opens here for two days, and judging from the bills and letter-press description, it ought to be worth seeing.
