Gladiator is a chestnut horse, bred in France by Count Le Grange ; got by Gladiatenr, dam Nuncio. Gladiator and his dam were purchased at the break-up of Count Le Grange’s stud, and imported to Melbourne by Mr J. Moffit, Gladiator has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and his stock are turning out well on the turf. For pedigree, see New Zealand Stud Book, Yol. v, Table 5 of Pedigrees.
