Okey, Taranaki, won the Rifle Championship with 279 points; Purnell, Wanganui, 272 ; Rodgers, Blenheim, 267. The Carbine Championship was won by Thomas, Thames, 26b ; Somerville, Wanganui, 263; Winisett, Nelson, 262. The winners in the 17th match are— Nelson Naval Brigade, 142; Thames Navals, 428 ; Wellington Navals, 428. Match 14 (carbine), North v South Island, resulted in favor of the North by four poinls. The scores are:—North Thomas, 58 ; Somerville, 67 ; Moolley, 60 ; Burr, 62 ; Gordon, 64. Total, 311. South—Twinsell, 46; Fathers, 60 ; Shone, 62 ; Thompson, 64 ; Hill, 65. Total, 307. Acheson, of Otago, won the medal for the greatest number of bull’s-eyes during the meeting, with 65 ; Purnell, second, 61; Okey, third, 60; Thomas, fourth, 60.
