The parents of the children have been invited to attend the public examination. A treat has been arranged for the children after the examination, after which the school will break up for the Christmas holidays.
The Town Hall reserve has been vested in the Local Board, the public notification having appeared in the Government Gazette. “ Score one for the town.” I see by the Wanganui Chronicle of today's date, that Mr Winchcomb is president of tho Sports Committee. This surely is a mistake, for I have attended both emetines of the Committee, but no mention was made of a president. —lust modus in rebus.
