■ " ♦— ; HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. Wellington, September 26. Mr Tole gave notice to move that all the Libraries o£ the colony be supplied with Hansards and Parliamentary papers. In reply to Mr Saunders’ question, re the Whitmore-Ingles telegram, Mr Fisher said Colonel Whitmore’s message should have been sent as, a private one, and charged in the ordinary way. A number of Bills were read a first time, including the Representation and Triennial Parliament Bills. • Sir George Grey, in complimentary terms, moved that Mr Seymour be appointed Chairman of all Committees. M, Hall seconded the motion, which was carried unanimously. A number of sessional committees were appointed. Sir G. Grey moved the adjournment. Mr Hall asked when the Address in Reply would be moved, as he had an amendment to move, and his party were anxious to take a division upon it at once, if necessary. _ In order that Government be not taken by surprise, ha would bring on his amendment when the Address was psoposed, as follows :—■“ Whilst, however, we are prepared to to give effect to Liberal measure desired by the country, we feel bound to submit to your Excellency that the Government, as at present constituted, does not possess the confidence of the country.”
