To start at 4.30 p.m. Nominations for Handicap Hurdles, Flying Handicap, and Waverley-Waitotara Handicap, to be in the hands of the Secretary before 8 p.m. on the 20th October ; weights to be declared on the 12th November, acceptances and general entries on the 20th November. Qualification fee for Non-members, £1 Is. RULES, No entry will be received for any races except upon this condition—that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall bo final. All entries to be sealed, and addressed to the Hon Secretary, Waverley, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and in case of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered, will be fined 3 sovs. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. In all weight-for-age races, the weight-for-age scale of the Wanganui Jockey Club rules will be adhered to. Allpersonsintending to withdraw horses, are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, or Clerk of the Scales, one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this .mle, shall pay a fine of 5 sovs to the race fuhd. All entries should be made on the Club’s printed forms of entry, which may be obtained at the office of the Hon Secretary. All races to be under the W.J.C. Rules.
