FReuter’s Telegrams.] MELBOURNE. August 15. The Lancefield branch o£ Commercial Bank of Australia was stuck-uo to-day by two men when first opened in the morning. Morrison, accountant, was gagged. A local customer was locked up in the Manager’s room. The Manager was in the yard with four men during the robbery. The Bank was robbed of £665 sterling. Police do not think it is Kelly’s gang. Black trackers are starting in pursuit. August 14. At the polling to-day, on the Licensing question, there was a majority in favor of limiting number of public houses. SYDNEY. August 13. Arrived—Oceania, at Cooktown. The following is. the result of the Hawkesbury Handicap : —Kingsinan, 1 ; Andover, 2 ; Colima, 3. Bailed—City of New York for Auckland.
