The Herald this evening, publishes letters from John Kelly and C. J. Messenger, re the report as to their being converted by Te Whiti. Mr Kelly says—“ Nothing took place between myself and Te Wbiti during my recent visit to Parihaka, to justify Ihe lying rumours that have been circulated.” Mr Messenger says—“ I request you will at once give it my unqualified contradiction.” The A.C.’s left town to day, for Wai-iti, to arrest the natives who are ploughing there.
