Are the share* boulders not able to pay somebody to light the lamps and look afther the gineral interests of that instatushon. If anyone wants to go there of an avening to light his pipe and read the latest quarrel betwixt the two Wanganui papers—the barbarious Native questian, or any other perriodycal, he must provide his own matches, for ten to one but he will find all nathure at the Institute wrapped in gross and dreadful darkness, with the gentleman in charge (not in charge),and the duur locked when it should be open, &c., &a. Prabably thccustoodians salary may be riddecnleously shmall for the dmitiea expected ove him—if so, thin I say let his pay be riz, or some other shkaame tried, otherwise I may have to ask yez more questins some time agin.
