Sxn ? —— J ll your issue of Wednesday Inst, 1 see a letter signed “ I). Fleming/’ ami said hy him to bo. written in answer to mine regarding the Rond Board. In that letter, 1 am accused of stating what is not true, hut the author has either forgotten, or not boon able to show where the untruth is. Now, 1 bog to repeat nil that I said in that letter, and also to say that Mr Fleming’s statement of a thousand feet of timber being carted to my place, is untrue, and lie knows that it is so. I would also inform him that there has never been any vehicles brought here on the road line, all traffic having been more or less on private properly, for the simple reason that the road is now, and always has been, utterly impassable. I am very glad to hear that there is to be another election shortly, as I quite agree with Mr Fleming, that it is high time he made room for some one who will think more of the public interest, and less of his own.
