As advertised, the sale of Crown Lauds in the Okotuku district, and Town of Wavcrloy, came off in the Court House, Carlyle, on Monday last. The sale w T as conducted by the District Land Officer
(C. A. Wray, Esq.) There was a large attendance, and the sections that sold brought good prices. Below wo give purchasers names, price paid per acre, &c. OKOTUKU. Section 195—51 acres 3 roods 25 perches. Upset price, £ 101. Purchased by John McLean, at £l7 per aero. Section 404—96 acres '2 roods. Upset price, £193. Purchased by William Brewer, at £5 2s Gd per acre. Section 466—55 acres 1 rood. Upset price, £llO 10s. ‘ Purchased by C. and J. Durie, at £2 2s 6d per acre. Section 467—65 acres 3 roods 4 perches. Upset price, £66. Purchased by William Duirs, at £1 3s per acre. Sections 363, 867, and 368, were passed ; and section 411 was withdrawn from sale by Government, owing to a claim having been made to it. TOWN OP WAVERLEY. Section 98—I acre, Upset price, £3O. Purchased by John Duncan, for £SO.
