SYDNEY. July 11. The rising in Now Caledonian has been confirmed, and consists of two tribes, numbering a thousand, who liavo never acknowledged French authority. Troops and armed colonists have surrounded them. Complete ex termination is expected. The cause of the rising is attributed to harsh treatment and bad conduct of the whites. BERLIN. July 10. Congress has been engaged reading over the articles of the projected Treaty. German and Austrian semi-official journals approve of the Anglo-Turkish convention. Dr Nobling has been sentenced to death. LONDON. July 10. The sappers from the Indian contingent at Malta, have started for Cyprus.
