CARLYLE TOWN BOARD RESERVES.
Ox Saturday last, Mr W. Cowern, instructed by the above Board, offered at public auction, the lease of a number of Town Reserves suitable for building sites and for paddocks. The building sites were offered for 21 years, and the paddocks 12 years. All but one section, found purchasers, either at or immediately after the close of the auction. The following are the names of purchasers and amounts realized : ISDILDIXG SITES. Block 14—Dr Croft, sections 2 and 8, at a rental of £ 1 10s each per annum ; J. Thomson, section 11, £2 per annum. Block 19—George A. White, sections 2, 3, 4, at £1 10s per annum. Block 23—H, E. P. Adams, section 8, £1 10s per annum; J, Thomson, sections 10, 11, £1 10s each per annum. Block 40— W. Dale, section 8, £0 Iss; section 9, £7 15s per annum; B. - \ Tregoar, section 10, £3 per annum ; G. F. Sherwood, sections 11, 12, 13, £2 each per annum ; J. Milroy, section 16, £2 10s per annum. PADDOCKS. Block 9, comprising 9 sections, E. Mercer, £lO per annum. Block 28, comprising 8 sections, Donald Coutts, £4 per annum. Block 29, comprising 4 sections, J. Ponder, £2 per annum. Block 5, comprising 5 sections, E. Mercer, £7 15s per annum.
