SPECIAL TELEGRAM.
NEW PLYMOUTH. May 21. At the Waste Land Board meeting a letter was read from the Secretary of Crown Lands stating that Government intends to ask a vote next session towards opening up all Crown lands suitable for settlement, but at present difficult of access. Application from John Henson to purchase for cash allotment 615, Patca District, was acceded to. Application from Patrick Hurley to take his brother into partnership, in the occupation of section 620, OtoiaOpaku Block, was acceded to. Transfer of interest in section 621, Patea District, from F. M. Shaw to E. H. Shaw was agreed to.
