oir, —Some years ago, when the Carindines first came out to the colonies, I remember reading an article in a paper headed as above. My opinion is, that the same wards may be applied, as a rule, to entertainments in this town, and more especially to the one given by Mr and Mrs
Reed on.Monday night. Professionals expect to receive encores, but there is a medium in everything. Ido not consider that it was legitimate applause (although highly deserved) that brought Mrs Reed so repeatedly before the public on Monday night, but simply an overflow of rowdyism —whistling and hamering forms with riding whips being the. chief feature. I trust these few remarks will have a good effect.—l am, &c., FAIR' PLAY.
