NOTICE is hereby given that there will bo offered for sale, at public auction, in the Council Hall (late Provincial Government Buildings), Wellington,‘on* TUESDAY", the 23rd day of April, 1878, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, 606 SECTIONS of surveyed Crown Lands in the T-Tutt, Ohariu, Pahautanui, Manawatu, Wanganui, Feathers ton, and Mauriceville Districts. Also, the Township of Carnarvon, Lower Ferry, Rangitikei, which has been subdivided into Ul'owii and Suburban Sections. Lithographed and other maps, also printed Schedules of contents and upset price, may be seen at the reading-rooms in the several centres of population; at the Survey Offices, Wanganui, Patea, and Palmerston; also at the Land Office, Wellington. Volunteer scrip can be exercised in the purchase of any laud included in this sale. In addition to the price realised at auction, the Crown Grant fee of one pound; and one farthing per acre for every acre oyer one hundred acres will have to be paid. . Town and Suburban Crown Lands can only be purchased at auction. Rural lands unsold at auction, may be purchased after thirty days’ public notice. JOS. G.
