AN ORIGINAL IDEA.
(To the Editor of the Patka Mail.) Sik, —Your last issue contained a letter signed “ W, Dale;” offering some suggestion as io securing a further endowment for the Harbor. By the style of the letter one would imagine that the idea originated with the writer. Such is, however, by no means the case. Tile “ idea” was talked over months ago at Hawera, aiid was recently communicated to Mr Dale; in the presence of a number of people, some of whom will take a different action to carry but the “ idea,” than Mr Dale coidd even if he would.—l am, &c., G.
