TENDERING.
(To the Editor of the Patea Mail.) g IR) —Now we have a new Harbor Boaid elected, or nearly so, and having six oT seven auctioneers in the County, it is to bo hoped the Board will give them ail a fair chance, as public men, to compete for public money, in the way of tendering to sell the Harbour Reserves, and not commence by nominees. Also secretaryship. Give one and all in the County, as ratepayers, an opportunity—as, no, doubt, one and all will have to find security. I am, &c, FAIR PLAY.
