NEW PLYMOUTH. February 12, At the Waste Lands’ Board meeting the Surveyor was instructed to survey the district in which the block of 600 acres applied for by Robson Brothers (adjacent to the Waiugougoro River) is situated, and the Ranger to furnish a report of the block. Mr Duncan applied for allotments 609 and 610 in the Otoia-Opaku Block, to be offered for sale. Resolved that the sale of unsold sections Otoia Block, endowment for Harbor Board, be offered at auction at Carlyle, on 23rd March, and that the sale be advertised in the Patea Mail. The Herald states to-night that Major Atkinson will meet his constituents in a few days and that lie will make arrangements for visiting Patea.
