Sm, —Boeing the District .Boards have to get the valuation of the district valued by the 15th instant, I hope it will be borne in mind by the valuators that land is being leased in the suburbs of Carlyle at the rate of 22s per acre, and at Kakaramca (the Harbor reserve) by Patterson Bothers at 17s per acre pev annum, in its improved state. If they value leasehold laud in its wild state at 17s per acre, what are other portions adjoining with improvements worth ? Surely more Ilian 17s per aero.—T anij &C.j RATEPAYER.
