The Auckl and Weekly Herald of the 3rd instant says—“ The satisfactory result of the Cattle Show held in the Waikato last week, under the auspices of the Cambridge Farmers’ Club,is the most convincing proof of the steady progressive character of the great industry of farming and stock raising, south of Auckland and especially in the Waikato district. The class of exhibits in cattle and sheep were acknowledged by cornpetent judges—including MrMarcroft, who attended the Show as a delegate from tlie Christchurch Pastoral Association, —to be equal to any produced in the more advanced districts of New Zealand, and some of them would do credit to England itself.
